Description
Every family has its own family recipe for borsch. Some people add sugar and prunes, others add fresh tomatoes or smoked pears. We offer you to supplement your family recipe with a unique borscht dressing based on plum jam (lekvar) and smoked pear.
This dressing does not replace tomato dressing, but perfectly complements it – add a few tablespoons of Smoked Pear in Plum Lecquer to the vegetable frying or at the very end of cooking borscht. This will give it an incredible sweet and smoky flavor.
The dressing is made with added sugar, so no more than 1-2 tbsp should be added to 1 liter of borscht. But you can experiment and find your own proportion.
Volume: 210 g
Ingredients: plum (60%), white sugar, dried smoked pear (20%), potassium sorbate preservative.
Storage conditions: store in a closed jar at a temperature of 0 to +25°C and relative humidity of no more than 75%.
